It's day 11 of our 30 Day challenge to create a better you. I hope you have stayed consistent and are pushing yourself to go that extra step even when you do not feel like it. Remember to join our Facebook group and be a part of the discussion or ask any questions you may have about your journey to health and wellness.

On this post, I am sharing two videos. The first is a video that shows you do not have to use any dumbells to necessarily work out. Your body weight is just perfect. The other is a video meant to inspire you. In the second video, I point out 4 key things you should be doing and the mindset you should come to the table with. They are:

  1. Invest in your health because doing so is investing in your life, and an essential tool to enjoying anything life has to offer.
  2. Create more happiness, energy, and strength through exercise. You are not a helpless person going through the motions of life. You actually do have the power to choose to create a positive energy, feel stronger and experience more happiness in your life. It all starts with making a decision to do just that and one healthy, quick and sustainable way to do so is through exercise. There is, in fact, much research on exercise and its effects on our serotonin and dopamine levels, the chemicals produced in the brain, which helps decrease depression and improve our moods.
  3. Proper nutrition and rest are essential. It's not enough to exercise, proper nutrition is essential. In fact, some health experts, especially nutritionists, argue that 70% of the work is in what you eat. Equally important is rest. In the very connected world we live in today, coupled with life's daily struggles, it can be quite the challenge to just remember to unplug from it all and rest. But you have to.
  4. Stay hydrated. Our bodies need a lot of water and majority of it is made up of water. So, stay hydrated. Water is a key source of the fountain of youth. It diminishes wrinkles, flushes our digestive system, and helps maintain a healthy bowel system.
